how to get your photo on fash[UH]n!

There are plenty of people I see daily that I'd love to photography but it's kind of a wrong place/wrong time type of thing. So if you see me on campus, and want your picture taken, just take these things into consideration:

-I never approach someone who isn't alone. To me, it's rude. I wouldn't want to approach you and ask for your photo and leave your friend just standing there waiting. It's awkward. You'll increase your chances of getting your photo taken if you're alone.

-I'm not much of a jeans person (I only own one pair myself) and I will generally only take photos of guys wearing jeans; very seldom girls. I like seeing skirts/dresses/shorts.

-SMILE. Or at least look happy. I won't approach someone who looks mean, busy, or anything of the like.

-Don't be afraid to come up to me if you see me on campus. I love meeting new people, and I'm sure if you think you look is cute, it's good enough for me. This is what I look like:

So apparently I misunderstood the whole free printing thing. It's free PRINTING (like it says-- I just don't pay attention) not free COPYING. And there aren't any color copy machines in the library. Anyone know where I can find one on campus? That's the only reason why I haven't printed the zine yet-- because I can't seem to get my hands on a color copier. So if anyone knows the location of one, let me know! I would really appreciate it! Thanks <3

my bff, @schmoopsiepoo, is selling some of her old (but REALLY CUTE) stuff. I don't know why she's getting rid of all of this stuff, because it looks so good on her! I'd buy it all from her, but I'm about 3 sizes bigger than her :)

oh and the reason for my lack of fash[UH]n photos today? it rained all day. which was really lame but kind of fun because no one came into my work this morning so all I did was play Rhythm Heaven on my DSi. hopefully tomorrow we'll have nicer weather because I just bought a Canon Rebel XS! <3

Wow, there were so many people out today with cute clothes on! It seems that almost every person I photograph is wearing at least one article of Urban Outfitters clothing. I love their clothes, but I only own a couple things from there because their stuff is a liiiittle bit out of my price range. ;]

Also: The first printing of fash[UH]n will occur in 14 days, I'm psyched! I will be selling the 1/2 page zines for a minimum donation of $2. All the money will go to benefit Extra Life, a charity that raises money for children with cancer. I will be selling the zine in my Etsy shop beginning September 3rd for pre-orders.

So this afternoon, after I had already taken pictures of three lovely people, my camera decides to act insane. The lens cover won't open. And for some reason, just because there's a "lens cover error," I can't view my pictures OR upload them to my computer. Nevermind actually TAKING pictures. So, I don't know what I'll do! My mother is out of town so using her camera is out of the question. Hopefully I'll find one by tomorrow, though!

Oh, and I found out something REALLY awesome today: U of H students get a $25 printing credit on their CougarOne cards at the beginning of every semester... and b&w prints are only 5 cents and color prints are only 15 cents! I am going to be in heaven when it comes time to print the zine.

Speaking of printing the zine, I'd love to have a guest writer or two per month for the zine. Just a short story, fact or fiction. Maybe a review on a show or a couple movies.
